There is a book called "Growing Object-Oriented Software Guided by Tests" - the examples code is now ported to Pharo Smalltalk. Amongst excellent discussions of other TDD topics, it sheds a lot of light on good ways to use mock objects. I've just finished reading Growing Object-Oriented Software, Guided by Tests (Beck Signature) it is without doubt a very good book (I'd go so far to say the best book I have read this year).
